About Dr Fayaz Hasham - Director

I began my career in healthcare after completing a Pharmacy degree in 1996, gaining valuable experience within the pharmaceutical industry and across various prison settings in London. Building on this foundation, I pursued a Master’s degree in Health Informatics to deepen my understanding of healthcare systems and data-driven care.
Driven by a commitment to clinical excellence, I went on to complete my Medical Degree and subsequently earned a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Dermatology with Distinction. I am a practicing General Practitioner with a broad clinical portfolio, including experience in both elderly care and paediatrics.
Currently, I serve as the Child Safeguarding Deputy and the Adult Safeguarding Lead at my GP practice. These roles reflect my deep commitment to patient safety and holistic care across all age groups.
With over two decades of diverse healthcare experience and strong leadership in safeguarding, I am uniquely positioned to oversee and ensure the safe, ethical, and effective operation of children’s care homes.
